This small,authentic restaurant is the best in Paris for me and my partner. It is my first time in this place but captured my heart for having that homey, comfortable feels. As the food has been served,made me even want more. Their beef dishes were fantasitc. Very nicely done beef steak which is locally produced from France. It is cooked with love as if you have a homedish from your family. They also do their own cakes which are wonderful with different variety everytime. Patrick who runs the bar knows just exactly which drinks and wine will be perfect for the meal you had. People who keeps visiting be omes acquitances and even friends. If you want a real French experience,never miss this place.

So old school. No English. Have a rotating menu on a chalk board. Hoping for coq au vin but they didn't have it today so had a tartare de boeuf. Cute. Home style cooking if ever I seen it!

Fantastic, authentic, cute restaurant in the heart of the hipster area. Food was delicious and quite cheap. We took a quick bite of quiche, and it was outstanding, the owner of the place is a charming, welcoming man who we were lucky to have a short conversation with. It is a real gem, don't miss it, even if you don't have much time or hunger. 10/10, very rare find. p.s. pic is from the nearby street.

The best cappuccino I’ve had in paris in a long while, that too in the warm homely ambience in a place which is becoming way too touristy in Paris. Evelyn, her husband and friends run this place for 40 years. Indeed charming and old world so expect to bring your cash and take in the ambience, the homemade treats it’s worth it.

Had a perfect lunch (coq au vin with the matching wine) with a wonderful ambiance. Locals go here and it has a familiar feel with typical dishes made with love. Truly a great experience with friendly hosts and I was even able to practice my French. Will recommend this charming place to my friends and will return on my next visit to Paris. Merci beaucoup! PS: remember to bring cash, as there is no card payment.

We would have never known about this place if it wasn't down to some local knowledge. If you like no nonsense (think Basil Faulty - for the Brit's) it is the place to go for excellent food. Bravo.
